MUPD’s Records Division is responsible for filing and maintaining all reports of crimes and incidents generated by the department.

Requests for accident reports can be made at: https://buycrash.lexisnexisrisk.com/.  

Requests for police reports shall be made through the Custodian of the Records of the University of Missouri System at: https://www.umsystem.edu/president/public-records-system  Copies of these police reports are distributed by MUPD’s Records Division and can be obtained from 7 – 11 a.m. and from noon – 4 p.m. Monday – Friday. NOTE: copies are distributed for a small fee.
