Most buildings on campus have a temporary lost and found storage where they retain items until they are brought to MUPD. If you have lost an item, retrace your steps and check with administration at the buildings near or where you lost the item(s). If you cannot locate your property, email Lost/Found Department or call (573) 882-7207. You can also submit a Lost/Found Item report . Be prepared to provide your name, contact information, property description and location where you lost your property.
Found Items: If you have found property and feel comfortable returning it to the owner, please do so. Otherwise, complete a Lost/Found Item report or bring the property MU Police Department. If you bring the item to MUPD, be sure to attach a note listing the date and location where the property was found.

If you have items in bulk or more than just a few items, drop them off during lost and found hours.
