ARRESTS MADE IN FEBRUARY 1ST ROBBERY:

At approximately 10:30 p.m., Feb. 7, University of Missouri Police Department officers arrested the following individuals for their alleged involvement in the robbery of two individuals that took place near the intersection of Rollins Street and East Campus Drive:

Shane Calahan
Date of Birth: 7/18/1985

Arrested for:
RSMO 569.020  - Robbery 1st Degree (2 Counts)
RSMO 571.015 – Armed Criminal Action (2 Counts)
RSMO 570.090 - Forgery

Brandt William G Feutz
Date of Birth: 5/9/1987

Arrested for:
RSMO 569.020  - Robbery 1st Degree (2 Counts)
RSMO 571.015 – Armed Criminal Action (2 Counts)
RSMO 571.030 – Unlawful Use of a Weapon


The University Police Department would like to thank the Boone County Sheriff’s Department and the City of Columbia Police Department for their assistance with this investigation and arrest.

Media Update Sent February 4th: On 2/1/2011 at approximately 2:34 a.m. and 2:42 a.m., a suspect from this robbery used the victim’s credit card at I-70 Eagle Stop located at 1704 N. Providence Road. The following transactions were made with the credit card.

Transaction 1: 2:34 a.m., Feb. 1

  • Items purchased: Carton of Kool cigarettes for $34.90, 5 Crossword lottery tickets for $15, 3 Power 7’s lottery tickets for $15. Total purchase with stolen credit card: $69.17 

Transaction 2: 2:42 a.m., Feb. 1

  • Items purchased: 15 Sweet 7’s lottery tickets for $15. Total purchase with stolen credit card: $15

Original Clery Release: At approximately 2 a.m., Tuesday, Feb. 1, University of Missouri Police Department officers responded to a report of a robbery that took place near the intersection of Rollins Street and East Campus Drive. The female victim reported that two suspects exited a small, white 4-door vehicle that was possibly a Volkswagen. After exiting the vehicle, she saw them put on dark-colored masks. The suspects then robbed her at gun point, taking two cell phones and a wallet with credit cards.
