Information on Home Invasion Robbery Reported to City of Columbia Police Department

The University of Missouri Police Department (MUPD) was informed of a home invasion robbery that was reported to the City of Columbia Police Department. In an effort to keep the community informed of crimes that happen near campus property, the MUPD is sending this Clery release. Please see the following information provided by the City of Columbia Police Department:

At approximately 10:59 a.m., officers were dispatched to 1111 Hamilton Way in reference to a home invasion robbery. The victims reported that a white male entered the residence and displayed a handgun demanding marijuana and money. The suspect left without getting any property and no one was injured.

The suspect is described as a white male in his 20's, 6'-6'3" tall, 200+ lbs. Wearing a tan mizzou ball cap, blue track jacket, back pack, shorts and nike tennis shoes. He reportedly left on foot in a southwestern direction.

There is no further information at this time. The case will be referred to the Criminal Investigation Division for investigation and follow up.
