Clery Release -- Feb. 2, 2011

At approximately 12:30 a.m., Wednesday, Feb. 2, University of Missouri Police Department officers responded to a report of a strong-armed robbery that took place near the intersection of South Ninth Street at Conley Avenue. The victim stated that he was struck in the head from behind and pushed onto the ground face down. The victim was then struck several times in the back of the head. The suspects stole an unknown amount of cash from the victim. The suspects then fled in a vehicle. Due to being thrown into the snow, the victim was unable to give any descriptions of the suspects or the vehicle. The victim was treated and released from University Hospital with no apparent major injuries.
