Clery Release -- Sept. 29, 2012

STATEMENT ON REPORTED ROBBERY

On Saturday, Sept. 29, officers from the University of Missouri Police Department received a report of a robbery that occurred today between 2:30 and 3 a.m. on the southeast side of Stankowski Field near the Medical School Library. According to the victim he was approached from behind by a male who demanded his money. The victim gave him money and was then punched in the face twice by the suspect knocking him to the ground. The suspect then fled eastbound toward the Student Recreation Center.

The suspect is described as a black male, 6’0” to 6’1”, 200 pounds, average build, 20-30 years in age, buzzed/balding hair, dark bushy eyebrows, dark round eyes that were glazed-over, dark un-kept bushy beard and mustache, bad acne, small cross tattoo on the inside of his right forearm, and wearing a white plain t-shirt and blue jeans.

Individuals may remain anonymous and may be eligible for a reward of up to $1500 if the information leads to an arrest.
