Clery Release -- February 9, 2012

STATEMENT ON REPORTED ROBBERY

At approximately 2:07 a.m., Thursday, Feb. 9, officers from the University of Missouri Police Department responded to a report of a robbery that occurred southwest of Memorial Union. According to the male victim, he was robbed at gun point by an individual around 1:53 a.m.

The suspect was described as a black male, late 20s or early 30s, between 5 feet 6 inches and 5 feet 8 inches tall, heavier build, and wearing dark blue jeans, a light gray hoodie possibly with lettering “MIZZOU” on the front. The suspect had his hood up at the time of robbery.

Suspect was last seen running north along Hitt Street near the Fine Arts Building.

Individuals may remain anonymous and may be eligible for a reward of up to $1500 if the information leads to an arrest.
