Reported Sexual Misconduct Case:

The University Police Department (MUPD) is providing the following information to the MU community to help ensure awareness of crimes that may impact safety. 

MUPD is investigating two reports of a male subject committing indecent exposure, which is a sexual misconduct offense, in a vehicle near the intersection of Hitt Street and University Avenue. The incidents happened at 12:45 p.m., on Sept. 7, and at 5:30 p.m., on Sept. 12. Both incidents were reported to MUPD at approximately 6 p.m., Sept. 12.

The person reporting the incident stated the suspect was in a black Volkswagen Passat bearing Missouri license AJ4H4J. The suspect was described as a mid 20s to early 30s, tan, white male with dark hair, no facial hair; he was wearing a red bandana, plain black shirt and baseball cap.  MU Police investigators are currently working to locate the person of interest.
